Mozes Cohen was born on September 21, 1856 in Wildervank. He was the son of Hartog Juda Cohen and Rachel Mozes Polak. Mozes was the widower of Saartje Denneboom. Saartje Cohen-Denneboom was the sister of Hartog Denneboom from Leek. She died on November 30, 1941 in Leek and was buried in the Jewish cemetery in Leek. Mozes lived with the family of his daughter Bartha. Mozes was arrested along with the others on November 27 and transported to Westerbork. On January 23, he was deported from Westerbork to Auschwitz, where he was murdered on January 26. Moses lived to be 86 years old.

Samuel van Dam was born on March 11, 1886 in Leek. He was the son of Berend van Dam and Frouwke Jozephs Meijer. He was married to Bartha Cohen and they had one son, Benno Levie. He was a merchant. Samuel was taken to the station in Groningen on 20 August, accompanied by plainclothes agents, and then transported to Westerbork. On August 31, 1942, he was deported from Westerbork to Auschwitz, where he was murdered on September 3. Samuel lived to be 56 years old.

Bartha Cohen was born on February 16, 1893 in Wildervank. She was the daughter of Mozes Cohen and Saartje Denneboom. Her father lived with her family. The family spent a lot of time with the Denneboom family. Bartha was arrested in Leek on November 27 and transported to Westerbork. On January 11, 1943, she was deported from Westerbork to Auschwitz, where she was murdered on January 14, 1943. Bartha was 49 years old.

Benno Levie van Dam was born on October 3, 1923 in Leek. Benno was a bank worker by trade. Benno spent a lot of time with the sisters Ducie, Selma and Hertha Denneboom, who were his grandnieces. He was arrested in Leek on 27 November and transported to Westerbork. On February 23, 1943, he was deported from Westerbork to Auschwitz, where he was murdered on April 30, 1943. Benno was 19 years old.
