At 63 Grand-Rue in Turckheim, five Stolpersteine remember members of the Geismar family: Lucien, Sylvain, Carmen, Yvonne and Marcel. They were arrested on 7 April 1944 during a raid in Haute-Vienne and deported from Bobigny to Auschwitz-Birkenau on Convoy 72. Carmen Geismar, née Roos, and Yvonne Weil, née Geismar, were probably murdered immediately after arrival. Marcel Geismar was later killed in Auschwitz-Monowitz. Lucien disappeared after the evacuation of Auschwitz and probably died during a death march. Sylvain died in Auschwitz.
