Henriette Salomon, a German-Jewish woman, lived with her sisters Charlotte and Leonie at Noolscheweg 29 (now Noolseweg 51) in Blaricum during World War II. She was chronically ill and dependent on care, with little or no financial means after her assets in Germany were confiscated. The sisters tried to support her, but their situation worsened under Nazi measures. In 1942, Henriette was officially registered as head of the household. Like many Jews in Blaricum, the sisters were later forced to leave, deported, and ultimately murdered during the Holocaust.
