Wijnstraat 195
Dordrecht
According to digitized police reports, the Jewish hunt has been going on in Dordrecht since March 10, 1942; new groups of Jews are always placed in custody. David Moses is the victim on Wednesday November 4. He ends up in the cell and eventually, after wanderings that cannot be drawn, in Auschwitz, where he is killed on April 30, 1943.
Six days later, it is "Moses' turn". He is taken on the 10th of November from the house on the Wijnstraat, together with his daughter Johanna and his grandchildren Cisca and Moos, and another 27 Jews from Dordrecht, in one big round-up. Grandpa dies in the gas chambers of Auschwitz on November 19, nine days after his arrest. Johanna, Cisca and Mozes also die in this place of death, four days later, on the 23rd.
