The Levy family lives in Eygelshoven from April 24, 1935 and from May 16, 1939 at this address, with father Erwin Levy (Carolinensiel June 22, 1896 - June 11, 1943 Sobibor), mother Selma Levy (Setterich February 10, 1897, born Simon - Sobibor, 11 June 1943) and the 3 sons Manfred Levy (Nordenham December 8, 1920 - Auschwitz, January 21, 1945), Günther Levy (Nordenham September 29, 1923 - Sobibor, July 16, 1943) and Dagobert Levy (Nordenham February 16, 1930 - Sobibor, June 11, 1943 ). Father Erwin trades in fabrics and insurance (for NV De Nederlandsche from 1906). They were deported on April 9, 1943. They are taken by train via Heerlen, Maastricht and Vught to Sobibor where they die. Manfred dies in Auschwitz or during a death march.
Dagobert Levij was deported to Sobibor in June 1943 from Vught via Westerbork on the so-called children's transport. He was 13 years old when he died.
The Stumbling Stone for Selma has been adopted by KGV. Initially, house number 89 is mentioned in the media as the home address, but this turns out to be incorrect. The stones are in front of the right house at number 87.
