Levi Drukker was born on November 2, 1901 in Steenwijk as son of Levie Drukker (Zaandam 20-11-1861, Steenwijk 09-04-1938) and Jetje Brest (Blokzijl 03-10-1863, Sobibor (PL) 23-04-1943 ). He married Roza Pels on April 17, 1942 in Arnhem. Their marriage remained childless.
Because from September 1, 1941, Jewish students were no longer admitted to public or special schools, special schools were set up for them. From then on, students of the state HBS in Tilburg had to go to the Jewish Lyceum in Den Bosch. A shared primary school was set up for Jewish primary school pupils from Breda and Tilburg. As of December 10, 1941, Levi Drukker was appointed as a teacher. One week he taught in Tilburg in the morning and in Breda in the afternoon, and vice versa the next week. From July 1942 a second teacher was added, based in Breda. The school in Tilburg was located in the Sint Elisabeth building on Antoniusstraat.
As head of the school in Tilburg and 'social assistance teacher' in Breda, Levie Drukker had a 'Sperre' (provisional exemption from deportation). On April 9, 1943, the last group of Jews still living in Tilburg was deported. Only mixed-married Jews and members of the Jewish Council were (for the time being) still exempt. Levie Drukker and his wife were transferred to Vught on 9 April 1943. They arrived in Westerbork on 8 June 1943 and were deported to Sobibor that same day. They were murdered there on arrival on 11 June 1943.
