Leopold married Julia Fuldauer, who was also born in Dinxperlo, on 1 February 1881.
Together they had a daughter, Sofia Naatje, born in Dinxperlo on 21 September 1924.
Sofia (Fietje) travelled with her parents to Vught on 9 April 1943. As a ‘Philips girl’, she made many journeys, even as far as Denmark, where she was liberated in 1945. She returned to the Netherlands via Sweden and Brussels. She died on 17 September 1981 in Doetinchem.
Julia and Leopold did not survive the war.
Julia was previously married to Alexander van Coeverden and was the mother of Eleazarus Leo Nathanael and Grietje van Coeverden.
Her son Eleazarus Leo Nathanael, known as Leo, married Eva Berlijn, who was born in Doetinchem on 16 October 1912.
Leo was born in Oostende on 20 January 1911. The couple had a one-year-old daughter, Julia Louise Elisabeth van Coeverden, born in Doetinchem on 16 April 1942.
She was murdered together with her parents in Sobibor on 28 May 1943.
Their daughter Grietje, born in Ostend on 9 October 1912, married diamond worker Henri Turfrijder from Amsterdam. Henri was born on 15 September 1910 and died in Extern Kommando Wüstegiersdorf on 31 December 1944. Grietje died together with their 3-year-old son Emil, born in Amsterdam on 14 June 1940, in Sobibor on 23 July 1943.
Julia Fuldauer's ex-husband, Alexander, survived the war.
