Kortedijk 84

The store and repair workshop of W.A. Elen, was at Kortedijk 84 in Vlaardingen. Where on October 29, 1942 he was arrested and transferred to the "Oranjehotel" in Scheveningen Cel number 510. Many of the prisoners were only temporarily pending another destination or execution.

From the Oranjehotel in Scheveningen on November 28, 1942 transferred to the KZ Lager Amersfoort. Registered there under camp number 1536.
At the beginning of 1943 transferred from Amersfoort to Camp Vught, where he was registered under number 1536, in block 8.15.

In August 1943 in Utrecht acquitted to the German court, but had to be re -educated. He was sent back to Vught.

On October 22, 1943, from the KZ Lager Vught transferred to the KZ Lager Natzweiler.
Where he arrived on October 27, 1943. Here he is registered under number 5634, and registered as NN prisoners. (Nacht und Nebel).

In September 1944 by the advance of the Allied troops, the Natzweiler camp was evacuated, and the prisoners were transferred to Kamp Dachau.
On September 6, W.A.elen will arrive at Kamp Dachau and registered under number 100825.

He is then transferred on October 29, 1944 to the Aussenkommando Bleichach, where a factory of B.M.W. Was for plane engines. On arrival he was beaten up by the camp leadership, and died on October 30.
