Reinder Tuitman was born on 30 April 1921 in Usquert, in the province of Groningen, the Netherlands. He later lived at Kerkpad 9 in Winsum and worked as a farm labourer. During the German occupation, he was arrested in the raid in Winsum and the surrounding area on 25 April 1944. He was taken to Camp Amersfoort and later deported to Germany. Reinder Tuitman died in Groningen on 5 May 1945, at the age of 24.
Sijbe Wendelaar was born on 15 April 1925 in Winsum, in the province of Groningen, the Netherlands. He lived at Kerkpad 9 in Winsum and worked as a factory worker. During the German occupation, he was arrested in the raid in Winsum, Bedum, Middelstum, Zuidwolde and the surrounding area on 25 April 1944. He was taken to Camp Amersfoort and later deported to Germany, where he was held in camps near Braunschweig and forced to work in Grasleben. Sijbe Wendelaar died in Braunschweig on 27 April 1945, at the age of 20.
