Manuel Fernandez Tárrago was born on March 24, 1926, in A Coruña, and worked as a baker. He lived at Praza Parque. Manuel was the youngest person on this list when he was deported, just 18 years old, sent to the Dachau concentration camp on June 2, 1944. He passed through five different camps over five months, a harrowing journey for a teenager. Against all odds, Manuel survived and was released on November 23, 1944, from Mittelbau-Dora. He was still only 18 years old. His Stolperstein stands as a reminder that the victims of the Nazi regime included children barely old enough to be called men.
