At Alexander Boersstraat 7, Judith Hoepelman-Beesemer lived with her husband Abraham until his sudden death in 1935. In 1936, Judith's sister Margaretha moved in. Their parents, Isaac and Anna Beesemer, joined them in 1940. Margaretha was deported to Auschwitz in July 1942 and died by September 1942. Judith was registered in Westerbork in August 1942, despite not receiving a call-up card. Her parents were deported and murdered in Auschwitz in September 1942. Judith remained in Westerbork until she escaped in September 1944, just before mass deportations. Her escape, noted on her Jewish Council card, ensured her survival. In 1946, she remarried Salomon Winnik, who survived by hiding.
