Jacques Albert Ossedrijver was born on 3 June 1911 in The Hague. His father is a fruit merchant. Anna Winkel was born on September 23, 1913 in The Hague. She is the youngest of five children. Jacques and Anna get married on January 3, 1934 and settle in Eindhoven that year. Jacques Ossedrijver works there as a warehouse clerk. On December 9, 1934, a daughter was born: Dora Ossedrijver. In 1942 the family went into hiding. A notice in the Algemeen Politieblad dated 10 September 1942 states: "The Police Commissioner in Eindhoven requests that the police, Jacques Ossedrijver, his wife Anna Ossedrijver-Winkel and their daughter Dora Ossedrijver, all living in Eindhoven, be located, detained and brought to trial. suspected of having changed his place of residence without obtaining the required authorization. " The family is discovered and was brought to Westerbork on March 31, 1943. On April 6, 1943 they are deported from Westerbork to Sobibor. On April 9, 1943, the family is murdered on arrival in Sobibor. Their daughter Dora was eight at the time.
